Purpose

Characteristics

● Pour a small amount of J-289 in a glass container, immerse in it a section of a piece of aluminium, preferably a very corroded piece of aluminium. The action of the J-289 will be immediately visible as it will start bubbling where it is in contact with the aluminum. In a few minutes remove the aluminum and show how the immersed area has been effectively cleaned.
● Explain that most maintenance men call J-289 "liquid sand paper" because it does the work of sand paper without the work of sand paper. The miracle of J-289, of course, is that it will not damage the paint or other surfaces which should be protected but at the same time bites into the stainless steel or aluminum.

● J-276 is a powerful new descaler in concentrated powdered form which replaces muriatic or hydrochloric acids for use in removing scaling from boilers & tubes, water towers & pipes, steam generators, fire mains system etc.
● J-276 is a scientifically effective blend of powdered concentrated acid. indicators and inhibitors which, when dissolved in water, substitutes most other acids used in descaling operations. In addition, J-276 contains special iron inhibitors which protects the metal parts coming into contact with it during use in its liquid state.
● J-276 offers substantial improvements in safety and economy of use compared to conventional liquid descaling acids.
● Conventional muriatic acids are hazardous to handle and, if split, can result in direct danger to handler operators in the form of acids burns, and indirectly from the inhalation of acrid acid fumes. Split J-276 can just be swept away! No corrosive burns or toxic fumes to contend with.
